Another activation email problem here!
A friend has created an account yesterday ("rocko2013") but has never received the email message with the activation code, so he cannot login ("Your account has not been activated. We sent you an email with a link to activate."). He clicked on the "Resend activation email" button a few times, but to no avail, i.e no messages are being received.
The email address he specified is definitely correct since he also tried the password recovery function and did receive the "Password Reset" email. He was able to change the password and did receive the "Password Changed" confirmaton email. But he still cannot login, even with the newly set password, because the account isn't activated. :-(
So it seems that something must be broken with the mechanism which sends out the activation emails.
