I cannot get comment boxes to appear on my posts, although they are on my static pages. I have been through all the setting and I cannot see what I am doing wrong. Using 2012 theme.

No comment box on posts

Check Dashboard >> Settings >> Discussion >> Default article settings >> Allow people to post comments on new articles
Also check each existing post to see if 'Allow Comments' is checked.
