No option to follow a blog.

  1. I have been informed that some people are getting an e-mail asking them to confirm that they wish to subscribe to my blog, but without the button allowing them to confirm. They only have the links to create a WordPress account or reduce the amount of e-mail.

The blog I need help with is peterleeson.wordpress.com.

  2. The WordPress.com like button is an in-house like button that can only be used by those who are logged into WordPress.com. It's the same as any other in-house like button for example Facebook's.

  3. YIKES! I just posted the wrong response into this thread because I have so many tabs open. I humbly apologize.

I'll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

  4. Oh dear, that's no good. Are they following the blog while logged in to WordPress.com accounts, or are they following email-only?

  5. The person following is looking for an e-mail follow, they do not have a wordpress acount - or, as far as I know, a blog anywhere else.

  6. OK, and is this happening at http://peterleeson.wordpress.com/ ?

If so, I'll try with one of our support email addresses and see what we get back.

  7. While trying to copy and paste the message received to demonstrate the problem, I have found that the confirmation link is present, but not visible. By hovering over the blank space below the words "Blog URL" in the message, the link is apparent, but, until you click on it, the lettering is white on white, once clicked it changes colour.

  8. Ok, is it happening for you on http://peterleeson.wordpress.com/ ?

Also, which email client or webmail are you using?
