Ive tried several different themes to check if i had something wrong, i checked on the wordpress.tv page to see step by step. but i cant change the font or anything on my custom header title. Only the color on that crappy color wheel on one sort of theme, but not even that on another! where have the buttons gone that wordpress.tv say are there! help!

To change font families on elements in your site, you have to two options.
1. If you have CSS experience, you can get the CSS upgrade and change all the fonts you want, but the fonts you use have to be installed on the visitor's computer otherwise the browser will simply substitute the standard serif or sans-serif font.
2. Use typekit to change the fonts. They are served from typekit's servers directly to the users browser. http://typekit.com/
