no response from any media buttons

    Hi, is anyone else having this problem? I seem to be able to click any link in wordpress and get a response, with the exception of anything related to 'media'. I'm not getting a response from any media related buttons, not in a post, not in my library, nothing. NOT liking wordpress's decision to not allow support queries from non-paying users. After all, this is supposed to be a free service, and thinking about scrapping my wordpress blog and going elsewhere, so before I make any rash decisions, it would be good to know if this is a problem other people are having right now or if it's something specific to my account.

    The blog I need help with is 16fivephotography.wordpress.com.

  2. Since the support form was rendered unavailable to those who don't have upgrades, the Staff presence on this peer support forum has increased, so not to worry they will be aware that you need assistance if we Volunteers can't help you resolve your issue.

    (1) How you are connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com. The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers.

    (2) Exactly which browser and version of it are you using. If you don’t know click here to find out > http://whatsmyuseragent.com/

    These are the troubleshooting steps we take whenever any issues like this arise:
    clearing your browser cache and cookies > http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
    using the browser with all extensions or add-ons disabled
    updating the browser to the latest stable version (not a buggy BETA browser version) http://browsehappy.com/
    confirming third party cookies is enabled http://support.google.com/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=61416
    confirming JavaScript is enabled http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654
    confirming Flash is updated http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ and if required installing the latest version of Flash http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
    resetting your router and modem and rebooting your computer
    then logging in using the secure https:// log-in see http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
    trying another browser

  3. The site you have linked to your WordPress.com username is not being hosted by WordPress.com. Please read this http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ as I think you may be posting to the wrong support forum and ought to be posting to http:// wordpress.org/support/

    If you are referring to a free hosted WordPress.com blog please post an active link starting with http:// to the blog you are having issues with.
