No thanks to new sidebar view after publishing

  1. Why add this patronising new sidebar about aiming for my next goal, after pressing the Publish button on a post?

It's nothing but a nuisance when the first thing I need is to return to the dashboard and get the shortlink for the new post which is not now immediately findable. This now involves yet more clicks, and more RSI.

And talking of patronising your bloggers, when are you going to banish your dumb login greeting "Howdy"? This smacks of comic cowpokes to us legions of foreigners not reared in the Wild West.

The blog I need help with is shapersofthe80s.com.

  2. You can turn Instant Post Feedback off from your Dashboard, at Settings, Users, Personal Settings.

  3. Thanks TT. Just what I wanted.

  4. You're welcome. :)
