Non-bloggers can't click on the "LIKE" button

  1. When clicking on the "LIKE" button of a post, if the person does not have a web-site address [a blog web-site?] A box comes up saying "USER NAME" and "PASSWORD" -- "LOG IN". We tried to just click on the "LIKE" button again instead of filling out the fields but it wouldn't budge.

  2. That's as it should be. Only members of the WordPress.com community can use the WordPress.com like button, just as only Facebook members can use the Facebook like button, and so on.

  3. One can resister a username account easily. All that's required is an email address and for many it's not a primary email address. When registering there's a link for "just a username please" - you don't have to take a blog.
