I'd like to have mp3s of some of my songs on my blog, but just streaming ie not downloadable or shareable. Is this possible? I'm linking to soundcloud at the moment but don't like the way it looks. Thanks.

You can use Soundcloud, but frankly there's no way to completely protect your MP3 files. Any old hack can View Pagesource and get your files that way.
You could make a slideshow or something and turn it into a YouTube, then embed that, but it's only a partial protection.
If you don't like the way the soundcloud player looks, you could try the simple WP audio player. See here:
