Non-WordPress users unable to post comments

    Hi,

    I was just informed by one of my readers that they were unable to comment without having a WordPress account. I double-checked the Settings>Discussions to make sure the box that says, "Users must be registered and logged in to comment" was unchecked. I'm not sure why it still requires users to log in. Can somebody help me fix this?

    The blog I need help with is tercessociety.com.

    I just logged out and went to your page. When I tried to leave a comment, I got a balloon pop-up message saying, "Oops! looks like your logged out" (Or something like that), and the offer to log in again. I then tried to comment & the balloon went away temporarily, but then came back. I assume the balloon pop-up is some kind of theme specific behavior, but I don't know why it's doing that if you have your blog set to the lowest setting (name & email required, but nothing else).

    I hope that someone can give you some help -- perhaps contacting staff might be a good option here. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
