I am not receiving an email notification when a new person subscribes to my blog. I tested this recently with one of my own alternative email addresses and I did get a notice, but today I looked at my new email subscriber list and saw a bunch of new ones that I have not been notified about. I need this function to work because I offered an incentive to new subscribers and need to respond to them quickly. Thanks!

Hi there,
You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com. Please confirm them for us.
Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.
Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.

Troubleshooting:
Check your spam/junk email box. If you have an option to unblock specific email addresses, try allowing *@wordpress.com (all emails from the domain) and/or [email redacted] addresses.
Make sure you to uncheck the box next to “Block all email updates from WordPress.com blogs you follow” on your Manage Delivery Settings page. https://subscribe.wordpress.com/?option=settings
