I was just wondering what the reason could be for the fact that despite the fact some of the posts on my blogs are picking up likes, WordPress which previously notified me with the star sign on the top left hand of the screen now has stopped doing so?
Right now I have to check each time to see if the blog has been liked and there is something very satisfying about seeing that star pop up on my screen so I would be grateful for any help.

I don't use Internet Explorer I use Google Chrome. I can't find anything on settings which deals with the issue of how to deal with being notified of subscriptions. I use to get a star pop up each time I got a like and I haven't changed anything knowingly and yet it doesn't pop up anymore. What could be the cause for that?
