I have created a new WP account to ask this question.
I have set up a WP.org account and am building my site. I want to use jetpack and when I link to WP.com, I am informed that there is already an account linked to my email - guy[at]guybutters[dot]com.
When I request a password reset, it does not arrive. (I have checked the spam and junk folders too.)
When I try typing the same email address into the "Resend Activation Mail" box on the support/contact page, I get this message "We were unable to fetch your activation record. Are you sure you specified the email address you signed up with?"
Weird and extremely frustrating - please help!
