I am not able to open my notifications ? can someone plz assist me ....

The blog I need help with is psychedelicbabe.wordpress.com.

  2. Hi there,
Please try troubleshooting and let us know how you make out after you do that and try https://wordpress.com/#!/notifications/ again.
If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.

Note: If you are using an IE9 browser in compatibility mode that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported. To disable see > http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html

If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com please do these four things:

    1. Try clearing your browser’s cache:

    2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/

    3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

    4. Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

If it’s still happening, let us know which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/ and also post any error reports you get.

  3. This has been happening for many people all day. First post on it that I found was here:
    http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/notifications-not-being-displayed?replies=8#post-1171937

It is still a problem. Firefox 19.0 for me.

I've been checking back through the day, and half of the world doesn't check to see if there's an existing thread, obviously. :)

im sorry i didnt check for another post ..... I just felt that if i posted my own post id get a quicker response ... :)

  5. LOL, you AREN'T the only one.

Actually, I suspect we may get a quicker response if people keep adding to an existing thread rather than starting new ones, because when a thread gets lots of responses, it is more attention-grabbing. I could be wrong, though.

  6. https://wordpress.com/#!/notifications/ worked for me, but I wasn't even aware of this in the first pace. I am used to it just being a drop down box. That, unfortunately, is still getting stuck while loading.

  7. Ah, that works for me, too. I didn't know about it, either.

That also turns off the highlight, so that is helpful to know. Because every time I've looked today, the highlight was on and I didn't know if it meant anything or not. Now, if it is highlit, I'll know.

But the drop down still isn't working.
