Novice in need of help please

    We have a domain name (ucnorfolk.com) purchased at go daddy and hosted at a different place. I'm trying to build a new website for this domain name using wp, and would like to manage it through wp. How do I make this happen and is there a fee?

    The blog I need help with is lionsiren.wordpress.com.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate. Please read this very carefully WordPress.com vs WordPress.org: The Differences http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    If you are referring to a WordPress.ORG install the this is the correct forum for your software http://wordpress.ORG/support/ If you have not registered a WordPress.org username account yet you can do so on the top right hand corner of the page I just linked to so you can post to those support forums.

    E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by WordPress.com. On free hosted WordPress.com blog we can use a contact form and/or a PayPal donation button for sale of only products created and/or services provided by ourselves.

    There is no upgrade you can purchase from WordPress.com that changes any of that. If you do require an eCommerce site, advertising, affiliate links, paid or sponsored content you can hire a web host and get a free software install from http://wordpress.org

    Question , Another blog has posted two of my posts . Blog name is freethewronged . This blog is showing themselves as the authors of my posts they linked through pingbacks . when I hit the post title on their site it does link to my blog . Is this normal with ping backs and are other blogs allowed to do this . I have disabled track backs and ping backs . I have also temporarily made my blog private until I figure this out .

    Thank you, the builder said $300 to move it to wordpress. This makes me wonder.
