   hello, does anybody know how I can reduce the number of posts shown on the front page of my blog from 10 to five, please? Thank you, Helen :)

   Try

   Blog pages show at most lets you set how many blog posts will be displayed per page.

   So you would enter the number five "5" post in that little box.
