   Just curious if the Facebook SHARE button was similar to the Twitter button and the Facebook LIKE button that have the number of "shares" next to it?

   The first few days that WordPress offered the new Facebook SHARE button, I noticed that there were numbers that were shown in regards to how many folks actually clicked and shared the post; now, nothing appears.

   Please help. Thanks.

   Hi There!

   I checked on my blog and it appears there is no such option for the facebook button to show a number by the button and the option probably won't be available anytime soon....

   We removed the count from the Share button as the Like button is being heavily recommended by Facebook for use going forward.

   Thanks a bunch Markel. I realize FB is heavily recommending we use their LIKE button in place of their SHARE button, however, in a poll I just did, ALL of my Facebook readers HEAVILY recommended I use the SHARE button over the LIKE button, so they have the option of sending it to a friends inbox as well as their FB Wall.
