One month-old fitness blog 23 posts: FEEDBACK WANTED

  1. Hi, everyone. A month ago, I enthusiastically started a fitness and healthy living blog. My goal for the first month was to post once a day for at least 6 days-a-week. That was to gauge interest and test my own blogging abilities.

After more than 20 posts, I've decided to go to a 3x/week schedule to give me time to come up with highe -quality material and supporting media.

I'm pretty set on doing that, but I'd really appreciate some positive criticism to help me improve my blog. I invite anyone to do so, but I'd especially appreciate feedback from any seasoned fitness bloggers out there.

Thanks, and I look forward to finding some new blogs to follow!

    Warmest Regards,
    ~Aj

The blog I need help with is andyisaj.wordpress.com.

  2. I'm no seasoned fitness blogger but it seemed really cool.

As an athlete it was a really interesting blog and I would love to read it. One of the only things that I would change though is the organization. Some of the themes have the option of having a home page where you can have information about the organization, links to some categories or even posts which would make it easier to read.

In addition I would add more topics to the menu at the top like maybe a page about just ten tips on how to change your lifestyle into being a healthy and active person.

Lastly there is an option to show excerpts from posts or to show the entire post, at least it is for my theme. I would suggest to show the excerpts so that people won't be overwhelmed by the amount information. Anyway you're off to a great start.
    Best of luck to you!

  3. This was an exceptionally helpful response. A lot to consider, and all brilliant ideas.

Thank you for taking the time to vie and critique. That really helps!
