one visiter two views

  1. Hi, I had one visitor on my website this morning but he appeared in two different countries as one view was in the US, the other in New Zealand. How could that be?

The blog I need help with is quirestonhallcom.fatcow.com.

  2. This is not an official answer as I have no idea...
I do know that visitors and views are 2 different things.
Are you sure the map is showing the visitor and not the views?

  3. Our stats are not real time stats and take hours to update.

  4. Thank you; I think I have cracked it now!

Do you know why the 'hit counter' at the bottom of the page is way higher than the stats, even though it is supposed to be only counting unique hits, please?

  5. http://quirestonhallcom.fatcow.com/ is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog. Note that we do not provide support here at WordPress.COM for any installs of WordPress.ORG software. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs being hosted right here on this multiuser blogging platform.

WordPress.com and WordPress.org have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names. If you don't have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
