Open ID name should be user's display name, not blog name

I'm disappointed by the way WP assigns Open ID names.

One might have various blogs; (s)he is the same human, and should be carrying the same Open ID. So, it is straight forward and natural to have his username as an Open ID name, or even better her/his display name, as chosen in WP her /his profile. Just like a gravatar is connected to a human, not to a blog, and just like when you comment in a WP blog, you are a human, with your display name, not a blog...

I think WP has got this wrong and it should be changed as soon as possible.

Right now, I am posting as Stazybο Hοrn, as a human blogger, not as one of my blogs...

Agreed with first poster. I want to go by ShadowWing Tronix, not bwmedia or my full blog URL.

I admit I don't use OpenID much but so far, every time I use it my display name shows, not my blog name. Where are you seeing something else?
