   Bluebird Blvd. and Buried Words and Bushwa will be co-hosting a blog carnival open to all bloggers from August 1, 2012 to August 7, 2012

   The title of the carnival is "Show Us Your Weather!"

   We are looking for blog posts discussing (or illustrating) your local weather experiences from all over the world.

   — All forms of media encouraged: essays, illustration, art, digital videography, poetry, photography and more are welcome!

   — Subject matter must be PG rated (SFW). Please no nudity, extensive profanity (R rated words), et. al. It's our personal preference, and we're sticking to it.

   — Submit your links to your blog post to [email redacted]. Please include "Show Us Your Weather!" in the subject line.

   —Links will be posted on Bluebird Blvd. in a pinned post at the top of Bluebird Blvd.'s blog from Wednesday, August 1st, 2012 through Tuesday, August 7th, 2012.

   —No new entries to the carnival will be included after midnight, CST, August 7th, 2012.

   —One entry per blog only, please. (If you have multiple blogs, and want to create completely new, separate entries for each blog— you can do that!)

   I am a lazy bird and abit muddled up since I've been hopping about in different parts of Canada in past month, visiting family.

   Presumably it's blog posts about local weather during that specific week in August?

   Thanks for asking this question, maidiebike! It's a good one!

   I think the broadest description would be weather in your area during this season (June/July/August).

   For instance, Metan lives in Australia and this is her winter.

   I live in South Texas, which is summer in the extreme, usually.

   If you'd like to focus on a particular day, or even a particular hour of this week where you live (or where you're traveling), that might be a LOT of fun!

   Our first entry is Metan, the co-sponsor of this carnival, with an essay and photograph post, simply titled, "Show us your weather!"
