    I stayed away for a whole week – I had hoped the topic had died.

    @iphonist1 - I am still pretty new here, but if these are truly your beliefs then I suggest you blog about them away from the forums. A quick search of your current blog shows it to be mostly reused content from a variety of Help systems.

    Blogging about your beliefs could provide you with some original content and the opportunity to converse with even more people rather than a handful.

    This is a community of writers sharing tips and ideas; by using the forums to discuss your beliefs through the intimidation of others you are doing far more damage to Muslims and the Islam faith.

    The Qur'an 3:28. Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers.

    Suggest you follow the instructions of the Prophet.

    Let me define prejudice: an unfavorable opinion or feeling formed beforehand or without knowledge, thought, or reason.

    Read back at the beginning of the post- everyone had very nice things to say; it was your responses that changed the conversation.

    Just let it go and create a blog about it - it is a great niche. You can moderate comments and post every day. Why would you even want to bother with a forum post talking with 16 posters?

    What do you hope to accomplish? What do you want?

    I have to say this is the most amusing thread by far right about now.

    I agree with readytochangenow, make blog and hash it out there. Then you can delete the comments you disagree with and not have to suffer from so much cognitive dissonance.

    Also, this thread has made me realize how much I love Time Thief.

    Just to support the original poster. She asked a reasonable question and was not antagonistic in any way. The thread was hi-jacked by a troll who it appears has the sole aim of discrediting Islam by misrepresentation.

    This conversation has degenerated to the point where it the original topic has been forgotten. Further discussion won't lead to any satisfactory conclusion, so I will close this topic.

    Please keep in mind that we are all human, and we all have feelings which can be easily hurt…
