I've tried re-ordering my links based on their ID using the Manage Link page, and now they are sorted by post order.
My question is, is there a way to change their ID? I can't seem to find any link ID's such as in Link Categories page.

maybe this will help [if you dont find the answer yet and maybe this was what you asked, i dont really get u]
you go to Link Categories, click on Edit and there you can set the Sort Order: Id ^_^
The theme may override it though.
I've tried to sort my link categories by ID, but to no avail...?
Lightwalk: Your theme does not allow it. It's a bit of an odd feature in WP.com considering that most themes force the link into an order. The theme you are using automatically orders links by name.
