How do you create and/or copy code to place calendar such as this one onto our page?

The link you have posted used JS but this is strictly not allowed on WordPress.com or wordpress.org . Also, that site is for Joomla and so you may have slight problems getting the right themes for WP.
However, wait for another 24 hours when some body more knowledgeable than me can answer you properly.

You also asked this question yesterday, and there is no way to do this at WordPress.com which is why nobody answered it. That hasn't changed in the past 24 hours.
If you self-host a wordpress installation on a third-party hosting service such as bluehost, dreamhost, etc., then you can use the javascript calendar, but I know of no way to do it here.
We can use Google Calendars here, but I don't think they have any sort of scrolling thing.
Create a calendar with Google Calendar. When getting the code to embed in an external site, choose the "Agenda" style. That's fairly close to what you are trying to do. There are other posts on this forum on how to do this.
Other options will require scripts that are not allowed on wordpress.com so you would have to move to a self-hosted install.
