Oxygen: change "Read Article" to a different phrase

  1. Hi,
I've been working with CSS customisation for my soon-to-be-open blog on wordpress.com and I am currently at translating menus into Polish. I used the brilliant solution from here to change 'Recent Articles' and 'More Articles' to their Polish names and what now remains is the 'Read Article' button that appears when one hovers over one of the three recent articles. I want it to say 'Czytaj' instead of 'Read Article'. I tried modifying the solution from the link above but it seems too difficult for me (I managed to find that this element is marked as 'read-more' and that was it :D).

I would really appreciate some help! Thanks.

The blog I need help with is pulpozaur.wordpress.com.

  2. For phrases that should be translated for everyone anyway, you should submit a translation instead of trying to use CSS to make the change. Start here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/translation-faq/

Here is the link for the "Read Article →" string you mentioned:
    http://translate.wordpress.com/projects/wpcom/pl/default?filters%5Bstatus%5D=either&filters%5Boriginal_id%5D=44290

  3. Oh, cool, I didn't know I could do that :-). I suppose you learn something new every day. Thanks!

  4. It would be awesome if you helped! We rely on volunteers for many of the translations. If you do run into any more questions about them, you can check in over here too: http://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/translations
