Oxygen Theme: Remove 'sticky' posts from blog page

  1. Hi,

I have successfully made my front page static and have activated the Oxygen showcase template to show two of my posts as 'sticky' posts on the front page. These two posts are merely images for the front page (not blog posts) but they are still showing up in my 'blog' page (which I added specifically for blog posts after changing the front page to static). Is there any way of hiding those two 'sticky' posts from my blog page?

    My site is: http://www.sianwilliams.net/

    Thanks,
    Sian

The blog I need help with is amateurcheffing.wordpress.com.

  2. I am not 100% sure why amateurcheffing.wordpress.com came up as my site so please ignore that link. The site in question is http://www.sianwilliams.net

  3. Can anyone help me?

  4. am not 100% sure why amateurcheffing.wordpress.com came up as my site

That happened because you are posting in a WordPress.com help forum, and the forum asks you to select the blog you are working on when you enter a help request. It appears your site http://www.sianwilliams.net/ is using WordPress software, but it is not hosted here at WordPress.com. See http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ to learn about the differences.

To get further help with your version of software, you should ask for help in the volunteer based forums at http://wordpress.org/support/ Here is the WordPress.org support forum made specifically for the Oxygen theme:
