Oxygen Theme - removing the Secondary Sidebar

    I'm using the Oxygen theme, which I love, but I don't want the Secondary Sidebar on my posts. Is there anyway of removing this?
    My blog is -http://haveticketwilltravelblog.com/
    I don't want any widgets in there, all my posts are very cramped and I would rather have the additional space. I have removed all widgets from the sidebar and that just lands up with Meta Data and Blogroll appearing, which is even worse, so I have a Search widget in there as a place holder but as already stated would much rather have no secondary side bar at all.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    The blog I need help with is haveticketwilltravelblog.com.

  2. Hi haveticketwilltravel,

    It looks like you switched themes to the Twenty Fourteen theme.
    But in case you are looking to go back to Oxygen again I'll let you know that you are able to remove it and expand the post section, but you would need to have the Custom Design add-on to do it.

    Let me know if you are looking to use Oxygen and if you have the Custom Design product. I'd be happy to help you with the code.

  5. Hello. i have exactly the same question, i am currently using the Oxygen them and i´ve purchased the extended version for the 99usd a year, is that sufficient to have the "custom Design add-on" ??

    i just started a few days ago and have almost 90% settle up, except the part of eliminate the secondary bar when is a post and leave it when is a page

  6. Hi franciscome,

    You would have the Custom Design if you purchased the premium package.

    To add the code you would go to your theme customizer so Dashboard, Appearance, Customizer.

    Then in the CSS section you could add this code.

    .single-post #tertiary {
        display: none;
    }

    .single-post #content {
        margin-right: 0;
    }

    This would remove the right hand sidebar from posts only.

    Hope that helps.
