    Please help by giving me a step by step guide to make my home(front) page display my latest post with two other recent posts.I want others to be read under 'categories'.

    The blog I need help with is 4thlink.wordpress.com.

    You can change the number of posts per page:

    1. Go to Settings → Reading in your blog dashboard
    2. Find the "Blog pages show at most" option
    3. Update it to the number of latest posts you want displayed on category, archives, and the home page
