forgot to say.....(and I know it's already been said)... but you can find the "theme locations" tick box in the "Screen Options" pull down at the top of the screen

Have you resolved your issue? I see these Pages >
    Home
    About
    Feedback
    Pong University

  3. I did the work around that they have been talking about. This works fine and honestly if I would have known about this I wouldnt of complained.

But if youre wondering it still is not working the proper way.

    Thanks for all the help!

  4. Thanks for the confirmation that it's still not working the right way and a workaround has to be used. I'm leaving the tag on for Staff so they are aware of this.

  5. This meted works with me:

    Dashboard>Appearance>Menues
-Create a custom menu (name it anything)
-add the tabs you want from your Pages
    -select Theme Locations
-Go to the bottom of the screen, and from the Theme Locations box, select your new custom menu from the pull down tab.

But i hope that the Staff can resolve the problem!

  6. New pages not listed as static pages under readings settings menu -- may be similar issue to those referred to in this thread?

I am trying to set up some new pages on my blog. I am using the twenty eleven theme. When I have created the new pages and I go to the reading settings page, those new pages do not show up under the drop down menu for static pages, in fact the pages that do appear there are now out of date. Please could you advise what is happening and how i can correct this?

  7. in response to my own post above....Solved ...simply pressed save on the reading settings page (before making any changes to the settings) and that made the new pages appear under the drop down menu.

I'm having the same problem: I just created a new page (called "Completed") and a sub-page of that page (called "The Spirit of the Liturgy: Posts"). They are showing up on my dashboard as "published". But I can't see any tabs for them from the home page. Where are they?

    Thanks for any help.

  9. I think its a wordpress problem.

  10. I am another person having the exact same problem, with a blog I just signed up for today. I have created two pages on the top navbar, they are showing up as published in the editing console, but not on the blog itself. If I fiddle with the settings, they display until I refresh the page, after which they disappear again, just as others have reported.

I haven't got any custom pages set up. I created one simply so I could access the dropdown that people keep mentioning, but that made no difference, no matter what I checked/highlighted/applied.

I must say, I'm finding this all a bit stressful!

  11. Also, my 'blavatar'/blog icon is no longer displaying, even though it was working before...

Exactly the same problem here, the pages exist, i can see them on the edit pages, when I create a new page I can see the tabs directly afterwards but as soon as it refreshes or navigates away (then back to the home page) the tabs have gone? what is worse people viewig my page are noticing exactly the same problem

    I'm realy glad I havn't paid this

  13. Hello there,
I'm soory this is happening to you folks. I flagged this thread for Staff attention yesterday. If you have not already contacted Staff on this issue then perhaps you need to use the Help link on the top right hand corner of your Admin page. If you have contacted Staff then don't contact them again as they deal with the support tickest that have the earliest date first, so itf you keep contacting them th date moves foward and it takes longer to get help.

  14. Thanks timethief...I have just sent a contact message. I hope, if a number of people contact them about this issue, they'll manage to find a resolution!

I'm having the same problem with the new page not appearing on menu. I've tried the solutions mentioned above and none work. I also just notified your staff so I hope they find a quick solution. My new page is about a book I've just written and I really need it on there. Thanks for your help.

  16. Seems to be resolved on my site now...cross fingers! :)

  17. @hillbillypunk
Good to know so thanks for sharing that.

  18. I'm having a slightly different problem with my pages.

All of my pages work except for the latest one i made called "shots" for my band's photos. The page exists and can be seen here:

    http://alrightalrightband.wordpress.com/shots-4/

but when i try to click on "Shots" in the menu section NOTHING HAPPENS. this is really frustrating. any help would be greatly appreciated.

  19. This should be all fixed up now.

    Sorry for the trouble!

alrightalrightband, since that is a different issue, please start a new thread.

  20. Actually, it has just happened to me! I have created a page with a contact form. When I publish or update it, it appears on the menu. But if i click or logout, it will disappear...
