  1. I've used wordpress hosting service for my website http://www.chhav.com . I add page 2 , it appears there as well as in my homepage. I tried changing page attributes like 'order','parent page' but of no avail. Please help.

  2. I'm having a similar problem; my homepage link is broken. How do I fix this?
neither of these work: redwoodempireboules.com or redwoodempireboules.com/26-2/
and I haven't got a clue about what the 26-2 means. Can someone help me with this?

http://chhav.com/ is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog. You are posting to the wrong support forum. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have separate logins. If you don't have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

Stop posting into more than one thread on any issue please. Your issue is completely different.

re: front page 404 (page not found) error

That error message can easily be addressed. Publish a post and it will be gone. By default the front page of your blog displays all posts (not pages) in reverse chronological order, with the most recently published post on top. The 404 (page not found) error message on the front page of the blog appeared because the Admin of the blog deleted the placeholder Hello World post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/

On the bottom of your Admin page you will find a link to the step by step Learn WordPress.com blogging Tutorial prepared by Staff. http://learn.wordpress.com/
The support documentation is all found at the Support link http://en.support.wordpress.com which is also on the bottom of your Admin page.
