   I had all 800 or so of my page jump anchors disappear. Then I replaced them all with the new "id" code. Now they are disappearing again, I'm assuming it's the same as before, they disappear when you update the page. I was told I would never lose any of my content, but I am repeatedly losing my work with these anchors. Will it ever be fixed? Will I have to replace another 1000 page anchors? If I switched to a webhost that supports wordpress, would this problem be fixed or will it have the same problems?

   The blog I need help with is allinonehomeschool.wordpress.com.

   If you switch to external hosting, no changes will be made in the way your WordPress works except changes you introduce yourself.

   It would likely be the same as this is a core WordPress feature.

   Let's have a look at what's going on so we can see about getting it fixed, since your IDs should definitely not be disappearing.
