Is there a convenient way to automatically post on home page the title, icon and first paragraph of a page on the site sort of as a "Page of the Day" feature. Want to have a "Read More" button at end of text to take the reader to the full page. Many thanks for advice. Jay

For the sake of clarity are you referring to pages or to posts? The two are very different. Posts have tonnes of Google juice and can have tags and categories assigned to them -- pages don't and can't. They are intended to be used for static content. Setting that aside, you can split content in anoy post or page by inserting "the more tag".
