So I was wondering I just made a new post about 15 minutes and I received two likes on the post immediately after but only had one page view and that being from FB. I've had this occurring with some of my posts before where I would get a couple of likes but the page would register 0 views for that story. Is there a glitch here?

No there's no glitch. There are several different ways that readers can start following your blog.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/following/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/followers/
A follower can click the “like” button when viewing your posts in the Readomatic reader on the home page of WordPress.com without visiting your blog or the Tag surfer http://en.support.wordpress.com/tag-surfer/ An email subscriber can click the “like” button in the email they receive of your new posts without visiting your blog.
P.S. To compel readers to click into my blog to read the full post I have set my RSS Feed to “summary” on this page > Settings > Reading

Maybe another factor is the display of the Like button on one's home page. Maybe some readers don't bother to click through to the rest of the article anymore. Last night, I had just published a long-ish post and was still in the process of reviewing the WordPress-suggested additional tags when a 'Like' came in. I actually went, 'Eh?' aloud. :)
