    Hi,

I would love to have a page on my site with a gallery of some selected photos that are already in my "media library" - a page with my favorite photos. Is that possible?

The blog I need help with is cutthroateliza.com.

  2. yas-create a page called photo gallery, goto add media, select all the photos you need, then and the end of settings, there is the photogallery option or slideshow

I can't select the photos I need from the media library..

If you want to include images on your Page that you have uploaded to the Media Library, then you need to include the image ID number.

Note: To get an attachment ID for an image, go to your Media Library and hover over the image title you want to exclude. You can find the ID in the URL (the number after attachment_id=).

I feel very stupid now, but I don't seem to be able to make it work..

I have to say that the images I want to add are "tagged" - or what it's called - to other posts, not the page that I want the gallery on (so they are already in the media library). Since they're already in my media library, I was hoping that I didn't have to upload them again to the page I want the gallery on to make it work.. (I'm not that good at explaining, but I hope this was understandable (?))

  6. Perhaps this demo will help to explain better http://agallerydemo.wordpress.com/2011/03/15/include-from-media-library-gallery/

This is OK if you are talking about a few images, but if you have a lot of images, it is much quicker to upload them again (after resizing first). :)
