Hello Everyone.
I have different pages, that represents the differents titles in my menu. I dont want any more menu titles, but I want some new pages that you can access by links on the main pages. I don't want these new pagesshown in the menubar. So how can I make pages that people can access without password and login and without getting the new pages into the menubar? I have tried to make private pages, but I can only see that page when I'm logged in.

I have the same question (I think) for my blog http://thoughtsthroughfood.wordpress.com/recipes/.
I have made pages that you can see in the menubar, and now I would like to be able to make a list under "Recipes" with the names of the different recipes. When you click the recipe name you're led to a new page that contains the recipe. How do I do this??

We organize our posts by assigning Categories to them. When we publish a post it automatically appears on the running page for posts and also on the Categories pages and Archives pages. Note: There must be one published post in each Category in order for there to be anything to display.
A custom menu allows you to display Categories with drop-downs to sub-categories in tabs along the horizontal navigation where normally only Pages tabs are displayed. If you wish you can also include Pages with drop-downs to sub-pages and/or Tags pages and/or Custom Links in your custom menu as well. You are in charge of what appears in a custom menu. You choose the order in which to display any and/or all the foregoing in your custom menu. You choose which to display and which to hide.
Create a category for Recipes and assign it to the posts that have recipes in them. Create a custom menu. Add the Recipes categories to the custom menu.

Hi. Thanks for your help.
I'm still in doubt though of how I can make a list on a page (not a drop-down menu) that will lead to other pages with content - not to posts. An example of how it should look and be organized is this blog http://zebbakes.com/index/, except that her list leads to old posts and not to pages with static content. I hope you understand what I'm trying to ask:).

Also... Is it possible to make a post that only appears in a specific page or category and not on the frontpage?
