paragraph format doesn't show up on page

  1. when I type a post, I put in the paragraph breaks, spacing, etc. that I want. When I publish, the post on my actual page is just a run on wall of text. how do i fix this? it doesn't separate my paragraphs, and runs all my sentences together. it's very frustrating.

  2. Has it always done this? Some people put in formatting that WP.com is never going to support. But sometimes there's an intermittent error that turns all your normal P tags into Div tags; the solution is to go into Edit, go into the Code editor, and change all the Div tags into P tags; don't forget the closing tags! Support does not yet know what causes this, but they're looking.

  3. Recently I have been having the same problem, I cannot format paragraphs. This occurs whether typing directly into the post box, or if I paste from TextEdit.

Even when I go in to the code to manually insert paragraphs, they do not stick!

What is going on with this?

    FYI - I have upgraded to 2.3.3

  4. 1) You're in the wrong forum and need to be at WordPress.org

  5. I read the sticky about the dif between .org and .com, to little benefit, since it didn't address issues like this at all. Why should this poster be in .org? She asked virtually the same question as the original poster!

  6. Because the answer is different on .org.

  7. You can tell she should be in .org because she included the version of WP she is using. We at .com don't have that information and, of course, our WP is a different kind of WP entirely, which works differently.
