Hello - I'm running into a few issues with my blog and am not very well versed in HTML. I'm trying to post text then photos (1 beneath the other) and then more text. The latter text is showing up to the right of the pictures rather than underneath them. This seems to happen no matter how many times I hit "Enter". Any ideas?

You will get double spacing between paragraphs in every theme here of which I’m aware. To get single spacing hold the SHIFT key down when you click ENTER at the end of the paragraph.

See here for text wrapping and image alignment. Also note that it it's always a good idea to either link your username to your blog , provided the content is no "mature" in nature. Or to provide an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question when you post to the forums.
Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.
Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.
