Is it possible to make a page into a blog (with posts). This will give 2 parallel blogs so to say. Eg: "Home" contains my blog and "About" contains another blog... is it possible to get any widget to fix this if it is not possible through "settings"?

Yes, you can create two blogs and use a cusom link in a custom menu to interlink the blogs.
