Password Protected!

  1. Hi.
I have a blog that I password protect every post as I want to keep my blog safe! Is there a way that when users come on they can just enter a password and then they're in?

    Thanks.

The blog I need help with is blametheblogger.wordpress.com.

  2. I think password protecting every post and page is silly. I would not do that at all. I would make the whole blog private. See option 3 here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  3. But not all my viewers have a WordPress account!

  4. Did you read the information here?
    See option 3 here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

I would like my blog to be visible only to users I choose – Select this option to create a private blog. If you want others to be able to view your private blog (and add comments, if you’ve enabled them) you’ll need to invite them to be a viewer.

  5. But they cannot 'cos they have not account!

  6. A blog is either public or private and I don't comprehend why anyone would ever visit a blog more than once when they find it's set to public but has every post in the blog password protected. To me that's crazy.
