Hi. I might need to temporarily password-protect my blog for copyright reasons. If I end up having to do that, is there any way of leaving a sticky post or something else visible, so that I can tell the readers what is going on, so they can see why the site is protected? Otherwise it's going to look weird to readers if and when I do that. ... Would appreciate any hints, although I suspect it's an either or, and this won't work.

There is not way to password protect a blog.
You can password protect posts and pages only.
