Hi,
does anyone know whether and what kind of upgrade I require to integrate Paypal on my blog?
The support for this question does not work on my computer. There are still the old upgrades related to the answer.

Upgrades do not affect the fact that we can only use the Donate button here.
As raincoaster has indicated above free hosted WordPress.com blogs cannot be equipped for eCommerce transactions. We can only use an unencrypted PayPal donation button on free hosted WordPress.com blogs.
If you require e-commerce/shopping cart functionality, there are no restrictions on e-commerce if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog. See here to learn the differences: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
