Hi. On one of my blogs, there was a new "author" added to the "author drop down list" - none of our administrators added this user. I tried to delete this user - but the user name is not in the master user list.
Also, our permalinks had been changed to a custom URL that did not work. I changed that back to our regular format.
Has this happened to anyone else - or can anyone tell me how to delete the new user?

Sorry, you are in the wrong forum and need to head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ as that is where self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG are supported.
These forums are for those hosted here on the wordpress.COM free hosting service and things here work differently and our answers typically will not work for you.
