Permalinks & importing from Blogger

  1. Hi all, new to WordPress so these questions may be obvious to you experts. I'm going to be switching from Blogger to WP soon, so I imported my blog earlier. For some reason, there are >s at the beginning of every post. Do I have to manually take all of these out, or is there a different way of removing them? My second question is about permalinks. I read that the best way to maintain traffic is to change permalinks via settings (settings > permalinks) but I don't seem to have that option. I've looked through all of them but I can't seem to find how to change my permalinks.

Any help is much appreciate. Cheers.

The blog I need help with is 15yearoldgooner.wordpress.com.

WordPress.com permalinks formatting cannot be changed. You are confusing free blogs being free hosted by WordPress.COM with WordPress.ORG installs for self hosting. See here please > WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org: The Differences
