Permalinks links dont work when changed from default to any other type

    Hi
    I have posted few posts and few pages on my wordpress site, now I changed the permalinks to another category "Day and name" or any other all the links to pages and posts stop working and 404 erros is displayed while click on any link. my WP version is 2.8.4

    Sorry, you are in the wrong forum and need to head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ as that is where self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG are supported. We cannot change permalinks at wordpress.COM.

    These forums are for those hosted here on the wordpress.COM free hosting service and things here work differently and our answers typically will not work for you.
