Okay, I did what I was supposed to but when I opened the preview, the file name came up instead of the picture. If I click on the file name it takes me to the picture! I want it on my first page under the text.

Are you using the Visual or HTML editor? If you're a beginner you should use the Visual one.

I have done a lot of blogs on Blogger, and wanted to try this one. I'm going to take your advice and start from the beginning by reading "Getting Started"
