Just set up third blog, first one with Chateau, and can't get photos and captions to look right. Captions run over into text, ruining post. I've inserted hundreds of photos on other WP blogs with no problem. Is it me or a problem with this theme? It's a beautiful theme, hope this can be resolved!
The blog I need help with is celtichearttours.wordpress.com.
Have you got a link to a place this is happening? Generally when this happens it is because the post text has gotten included inside of the "caption" HTML tags.
How would that happen? The html version looks fine. I don't want to put it up when it's messed up so where is no link to it.

I just put 3 images with captions into three test posts in my Chateau test blog with text after without an issue.
Contact staff directly at http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ . Search for anything, scroll down, click "No..." and then the contact form will appear.
