   I've made a gallery and underneath wanted to post separate images. The images loaded ALSO into the gallery. How to get rid of them? If I delete them, they are gone from the post too...

   That is one of the weaknesses of the gallery the way it is currently set up. I know they have some planned changes to the gallery but were not able to get it worked into 2.7. I expect we will see it in a future update but no one knows just when.

   Upload the individual images via the Add New Media upload or in a different post.
