  1. Hello,

Every week, I participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge. Since last week, I noticed that there seems to be a problem with my pingback. Although I have enabled them on my site (http://road-tripping-europe.com), my post doesn't appear in the tiled list.
    Can you help me?

    Thx in advance,

    Ingrid

The blog I need help with is road-tripping-europe.com.

  2. Hey there!

I'm not quite sure why your pingbacks suddenly stopped working. Unfortunately, I'm not well-equipped to help you since your blog is a self-hosted WordPress.org site. Can you please post in the WordPress.org support forums and ask for an opinion on this?

    Good luck!

  3. I already contacted http://www.wordpress.org/support/, explained the problem and they told me to contact you! Can anyone please help me?

  4. Hey Ingrid!

My apologies for the trouble that you're having. I'm not exactly sure why the ping wasn't sent to the Daily Post and I'm guessing that a malfunction probably occurred either on your blog or on the Daily Post itself. Can you please try to join another challenge or prompt and let me know about it so I can take another look? Thanks for your patience!

  5. I joined the WPC today and it still doesn't work :-( I can't even see my comment on the Daily Post. This is the post on my website: http://road-tripping-europe.com/blog/2014/06/weekly-photo-challenge-between/

  6. Hello Ingrid,

I'm afraid that I'm not seeing your recent pingback to that challenge. Can you please check out our support page here, and make sure that your blog's search engine visibility setting isn't set to block search engines or to private? You can see this in Settings -> Reading in your blog dashboard:

    http://road-tripping-europe.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php

Alternately, you may contact our Daily Post by sending them a tweet at:

    http://twitter.com/postaday/

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

  7. Checked all the settings, like you asked, everything is enabled. What surprises me is that everything worked just fine until a couple of weeks ago and now it doesn't anymore.

  8. Sorry about that! Have you tried pinging the Daily Post team via Twitter? Let me reiterate that your blog is a self-hosted WordPress.org blog, and that makes my ability to assist you quite limited.

    Good luck!

  9. Is there any other way to contact someone from the Daily Post team? Besides, I have already posted this problem on the forum of wordpress.org and they told me to contact you.
