marklebIf I approve a comment from a reader, all subsequent comments from that reader are automatically approved. However when I link my own blog posts from within my admin area I have approve each time. This does not seem particularly logical.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I don't want to stop the pings. I am happy to use them.
My question is more to do with the approval process. Is there a setting that I can automatically approve my own pingbacks, in the same way that I automatically approve comments.
