Placement of pagination

  1. Hard to believe but I've created my first post with pagination and realized the page buttons are displayed below the rating, likes and sharing buttons.

Shouldn't they immediately follow the post content right before all other features? Otherwise a reader might miss them and wonder where to continue. To me it looks like the post ends before the rating feature and I worry a reader might stop looking for other content or start to wonder why the post is missing the information.

I'm not sure if this is a Pilcrow theme specific issue or applies to all themes on WordPress.com. Could this be fixed so that the pagination immediately follows the post content?

The blog I need help with is iqatrophie.wordpress.com.

  2. Hi there!

Thanks for your feedback! The pagination has always been displayed below the rating, likes and sharing buttons, regardless of theme. We've registered your suggestion and will keep it in mind for future features and updates!

Also, don't forget the ideas forum, where you can discuss your suggestion with the WordPress.com community: http://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/ideas

I hope that clarifies things! Let me know if I can help with anything else.

  3. Hi Carolyn,

    thanks for the clarification. :)

    Cheers
    Martin(IQ)
