Please help me disable comments and likes in the gallery.

    Hello,

    I cannot disable comments and likes in the gallery. My client does not want them and I do not want to take their gallery down. The comments and likes everywhere have been disabled everywhere else in the site. Please show me how disable them in the gallers so that we do not have to disable them manually.

    Tried: http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/#missing-discussion-module and http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/#automatically-closing-comments

    Tested unchecking all options in "comments"and cleared cache Didn't work. Tried unchecking "Allow people to post comments on new articles." There seems to be no option for unchecking "likes."

    Please make sure to read that entire thread, as @designsimply has updated us that it is possible to remove commenting on an image per image. See here http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/disabling-comments-in-image-gallery-carousel?replies=13#post-1166463
